The Old Florida Festival of the Arts brought artists to Cedar Key this weekend so they could display their art, sell their art and have their art judged. Patrons of the fine arts came to view and purchase the works, as well as enjoy delicious food on the small island.

Looking down at the street from the balcony of the Cedar Key Arts Center, one sees the tops of tents, visitors and the Cedar Key Public Library across the way on Sunday. The Cedar Key Arts Center organized the show. The show was managed by Mandy Cassiano.

Valerie Bretl, a mosaic artist from Cedar Key during the winter season, owns a mosaic art gallery in Bristol, Rhode Island that is open in the summer. She has won awards nationwide, but took no new ribbons from this juried art show.      >>>>>>
