Discover Cedar Key Banner Project

This joint project between the City of Cedar Key, Chamber of Commerce and Cedar Key Arts Center was completed in the Spring of 2010. Twelve images were carefully selected to serve as a guide to Cedar Key. The banners' aqua borders serve as a visual symbol of our island community and its commitment to the preservation of our natural environment. The artists were matched with the images based on their artistic style and all graciously donated their time and talent. The Discover Cedar Key Brochure, was produced by commercial artist and CKAC website designer, Bill Killborn. Who also donated his time and talent. The text was written by Sandra Buckingham and Beverly Ringenberg. The brochure is available at the Cedar Keyhole and the Chamber of Commerce ($1 donation suggested).

Flags wil be hung for 4-6 weeks in the Spring and Fall before Cedar Key's Festivals and will be on display indoors periodically throughout the year. Click here to look at the Discover CedarKey Brochure.
